Honey Oven Roasted Chicken


You need the following ingredients: pieces of chicken, melted butter, mustard, salt, curry powder and honey. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius. Mix all the ingredients together (except for the chicken). Place the chicken on a roasting pan (the skin should be sided up) and bake it for one hour and fifteen minutes. Remember to baste the chicken with pan drippings every 15 minutes so that it will be perfectly browned and tender. Let it stand for 3-5 minutes before serving.


Bacon Stuffed Roasted Chicken with Lemon Garlic Sauce


For this dish, preheat the oven (180 degrees Celsius). You will need chicken, butter, salt and pepper. You also need stuffing ingredients such as: butter, olive oil, red chopped red onion, diced bacon, finely minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, white bread crumbs, salt, and ground black pepper. In a saucepan with olive oil over medium heat, melt the butter; add the onion, garlic and bacon. Cover it with greaseproof paper and cover with a lid. Cook it on low heat until the onions softens. Add the chopped parsley, thyme and bread crumbs. Season it with salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat. Let it cool. When it does, spoon it into the chicken cavity. Place the chicken on a greased roasting pan. Brush or grease it with butter and season it with salt and pepper. Roast it in the preheated oven for one hour and thirty minutes up to one hour and forty-five minutes. Baste the chicken occasionally until the texture and color are perfect and cooked well. You will know if the chicken is cooked when its legs begin to loosen from the body.
